She wears an elaborate crown and intricate jewelry, including necklaces, armlets, and bracelets, all rendered with exceptional precision in the dark stone. Beneath Durga, her vahana (divine mount), a fierce lion, is dynamically carved, roaring or looking intently forward, symbolizing courage and strength. To the goddess's lower right, a human-like figure, likely the demon Mahishasura in his human form, kneels in a posture of submission or defeat, representing Durga's victory over evil. The central composition is flanked by several attendant deities and figures. On Durga's left, a standing male deity (possibly Shiva or an attendant) is depicted, while below him, a small, seated figure of Lord Ganesha with his elephant head is visible.
