Shivling Sculpture in Black Marble
Size : 12″
Materials: Black Marble is used in this Shiva linga.
Shiva represents the body with life and movement.
If the ‘ee’ is isolated from Shiva, it gets reduced to sha+va = shava.
Shava signifies a departed body. Shiva is with the potential of life, whereas Shava is lifeless.
Shiva is life, Shiva is potential Q for life, Shiva is all-encompassing – the full soul or consciousness – as a result of this. Ananda, or happiness, is attained by realising this Shiva Tattva.
Shiva is the source of all things, the sustainer of all things and the destroyer of all things. Shiva is also known as the Shiva Tattva. Because Shiva is the foundation of the cosmos, you will never be able to leave Shiva at any moment.
The Shiva Tattva is the source of your mind, body, and everything else. Shiva is known as ‘Vishwaroopa,’ which means ‘the entire globe is his shape.’
The figure of Shivling sculpture in black marble is beyond the elites. The whole cosmos is the body. All-stars, galaxies make the hair, thousands of sun together with the eyes. Water the stomach. The snake is the mind. The world is full of millions of vibrations that are interconnected to the mind, planets, and even food. Everything is networked.
Creation is a mix of differing values – positive and negative aspects. The world has fire and water, goodness and evil, and so on. Shiva is already in all challenging values. This is why Shiva is called Rudra (fierce) and at the same time, he is called Bholenath (the most innocent). He is called Sundaresha (beautiful) and also Aghora (terrifying). A famous Shiva prayer describes Shiva as Gowram (fiery), and in the same decision, he is called Karunavataram (the embodiment of compassion).
Shiva is usually depicted in paintings and carvings as a white god with a blue neck (from holding the poison that appeared at the churning of the cosmic ocean, which threatened to destroy the world), his hair designed in a coil of matted locks (jatamakuta), and enhanced with the crescent moon and the Ganges river (according to legend, he made the Ganges River to earth from the sky, where she is the Milky Way, by allowing the river to trickle through his hair, thus breaking her fall).
Shiva has three eyes, the third eye allotting inward sight but capable of burning waste when focused outward. He wears a garland of skulls and a snake around his neck and carries in his two (sometimes four) hands a deerskin, a trident, a small hand drum, or a club with a skull at the end.
Lingam means identification, a symbol through which you can identify what the truth is – what the reality is. What is not visible yet can be identified by one thing – that is lingam.
