Behind and above the head, a magnificent multi-headed Naga (cobra) hood fans out protectively, clearly showing the distinct heads and adorned with intricate white, crescent-shaped markings on the underside of each hood, creating a striking contrast against the dark stone. The statue portrays the figure in digambara (sky-clad) form, symbolizing detachment and renunciation. A prominent symbol, appearing as a four-pointed star or cross-like chihna, is carved into the center of the chest.
