Saraswati is depicted seated gracefully in a cross-legged posture, radiating serenity. Her face features downcast eyes and a gentle, contemplative smile, framed by an elaborate, tiered crown (mukuta) and large, ornate earrings. The goddess is shown with four arms, a common representation: 1. Her front two hands are delicately poised to play the Veena, a stringed musical instrument, which rests across her lap. The Veena itself is a masterpiece of carving, complete with tuning pegs and a resonance chamber. 2. In her upper left hand, she holds a meticulously carved book or sacred scripture (Pustaka), symbolizing knowledge, learning, and wisdom. 3.
