Sai Baba Murti 3′

Material Used: This statue is designed on high-quality marble and manufactured with immense care and creativity.

Meaning of Baba’s Name: The name Sai Baba appears from sai, a Persian word used by Muslims to express a holy person, and baba, Hindi for father.

The history of Sai Baba’s earlier years is a lesser-known fact to many of us. The majority of legends state that he was a Hindu Brahman before being chosen as a Sufi fakir, or mendicant. He claimed to have had a Hindu guru later in life. Around 1858, Sainath made his first appearance at Shirdi, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, and remained there until 1918, when he passed away.

As a result of his compelling teachings and his execution of apparent miracles, which frequently included the granting of wishes and the healing of the sick, Sai Baba gained a notable following among Hindus and Muslims by the turn of the century after initially being labeled as a madman by the villagers of Shirdi.

He maintained a fire going every day, a habit reminiscent of some Sufi groups, and spent the majority of his life in an abandoned mosque in Shirdi. He also wore a Muslim hat.

He is supposed to have had substantial knowledge of the Puranas, the Bhagavadgita, and many schools of Hindu thinking since he gave the mosque the Hindu name Dvarakamai. The contradicting narratives that frequently made up Sai Baba’s teachings showed both his contempt for the rigorous formality that both Hinduism and Islam were prone to, as well as his compassion for the needy and ill.

Babaji was the most mortal of all the gods. Among his ardent followers, Shirdi Sai was renowned as the supernatural fakir, and he was well-known for both his superhuman and more mundane miracles. People have even shared their firsthand encounters with Baba and described how He effortlessly helped His devoted followers overcome challenges and complexity. The extraordinary tales and miracles of the renowned saint Sai baba are mysterious and are regarded as being singular in Indian history. Baba was an Indian spiritual leader who was most recognized for helping his fervent followers address their problems.

About The Statue: In this Baba Murti, Babaji is sitting in an abhaya mudra, which denotes the blessings showered by baba to us. His face looks immensely calm and beautiful. The artisan had done beautiful hand carvings on the statue, which gives a spirited vibe to the statue.
