Vishnu Stone Statue
Height- 3ft
Material: We have used brown sandstone to carve this beautiful piece of art. This Vishnu Statue is a masterpiece and a bit more elaborated than our previous Vishnu creations in various stones. This sculpture is created with a lot of intricate details, and any design changes can be done on a new piece of art.
One of the important Hindu deities is Vishnu. Through his various avatars, particularly Rama and Krishna, Vishnu merges a great number of additional minor deities and regional heroes. He is credited for having ten avatars, although they aren’t always the same ten. His ideas are endless.
Every time Vishnu is called upon to combat evil and defend dharma, it is believed that he manifests a portion of himself (moral and spiritual law). Some avatars, like Parashurama (Rama with the Axe) and Krishna, cause the deaths of numerous innocent people, while the Buddha corrupts the upright antigods. The bird Garuda serves as Vishnu’s vahana, or mode of transportation, while Vaikuntha is the name of his heavenly home.
Vishnu stone statue is depicted in temple sculptures either sleeping on the cosmic ocean during the interval between the periodic destruction and re-manifestation of the earth, frequently accompanied by his consorts Lakshmi (also known as Shri) and Bhumidevi (Earth).
He is also seen standing tall, dressed in exquisite garb, and carrying the shankha (conch), chakra (discus), gada (club), or Padma in his four (or occasionally two) hands (lotus).
He wears the auspicious gem Kaustubha around his neck and has the hair curl known as the shrivatsa mark on his chest. Vishnu murti is typically shown in portraiture as having a dark complexion, which is a distinguishing feature of several of his manifestations as well.
Beautiful brown sandstone carving was used to create this figurine. The intricate craftsmanship demonstrates the artisan’s great dedication to creating this unique piece. On the whole body, minute carvings are created while considering the appropriate ornamentation.
A flower, conch shell, discus, large club, and other objects are all held in the hands of this standing Vishnu statue. The conch represents “Om,” the initial sound of creation and the source of all matter since sound and matter are viewed as being equally important. The sun is said to be represented by the discus.
A reminder of his solar beginnings is the discus. The club, also known as Gada, is Vishnu’s weapon and stands for the elemental strength that underlies all mental and physical abilities. The Narayan Statue is wearing a thick necklace that reaches his legs. He’s smiling just a little bit.
Lord Vishnu is the Hindu god of protection and part of the Hindu holy Trimurti along with Shiva the Destroyer & Brahma the Creator
